Updates - New design, comp news + more!

So as you may have noticed, the site has been redesigned, complete with a new layout, an awesome banner created by my friend Brian Galecki (who was interviewed by the blog recently), and our very own domain - www.skeletallightning.net.

I want to thank every one of my readers for coming and checking out the site, whether you just stumbled upon it through a search engine or you check back daily. It all makes the work worth it, and most importantly, the Midwestern music scene gets the attention it deserves.

Now for updates on the compilation:

We are days away from the release of the first Skeletal Lightning Midwest Underground summer compilation.

The comp will feature:

- A free stream/download of 28 songs from 28 of the greatest bands of the underground music scene including:

Northless, Jowls, The Reptilian, William Bonney, Droughts, Boilerman, Stay Ahead of the Weather, Texas Instruments, and many more...

- New/unreleased tracks from Enabler, Horrible Things, Enta, Dino Bravo, Tiny Moving Parts, Thieves, Restore, Alta, and Canyons.

- Album art from Vincent Guiliano of Thieves.
